The Cottage at The Crystal Coast is a unique ocean front venue on the coast of North Carolina. Located in the heart of The Crystal Coast on Glenn Street, in Atlantic Beach, The Cottage was a logical next step for Jessica and Anita Horton, as this quaint coastal community has been part of their family’s story for generations.
The Horton family has been rooted on Glenn St. for over 50 years. Jessica describes coming across the Atlantic Beach bridge as an indescribable feeling. She says, “It is like taking a breath for the first time. The feeling of knowing what is ahead and awaits you instantly rejuvenates you and melts all of the worries of the world away.” For generations, The Horton family has been establishing lifelong connections and a home away from home here in The Crystal Coast Community. When they spotted The Cottage on the market, they jumped on the opportunity to establish roots as business owners here and are thrilled at the opportunity to bring a breath of fresh air to community events and gathering space here in The Crystal Coast. Jessica and Anita are inspired by the great gathering places of the past that have been established throughout Atlantic Beach, such as Sportsman’s Pier and The Circle, striving to mirror that lasting impression of generational memories.
The Cottage at The Crystal Coast is excited to announce the expansion of events offered. While Celebration Cottage was formally known specifically as a wedding venue, The Cottage at the Crystal Coast will be known as the first and only private ocean front multi-purpose venue on the coast of North Carolina. The Cottage has the capabilities to not only host weddings, but also, corporate events, meetings and retreats, private luncheons, dinners and parties, and community functions of all kinds. Additionally, The Cottage at The Crystal Coast plans to expand to be the first small music venue on The Crystal Coast hosting ticketed events including live music and entertainment. The Cottage can host up to 225 guests inside the house itself and has space to accommodate larger events with the additional 5,793 square foot luxury ocean front lawn located directly adjacent to the venue. The Cottage at The Crystal Coast is the perfect destination venue for all occasions.
